These terms provide general information about services supplied by Midsummer Publishing Pty Ltd. Specific work may also be covered by a proposal, statement of work, order, invoice or other agreement accepted by the customer. Those individually agreed terms will apply to that work.

Services

Midsummer Publishing provides software development and web-based software services for businesses. This includes custom software development, AI-powered automations, internal tools and web applications.

Projects and payment

Custom software work may be charged on a project or subscription basis. Project scope, fees, payment timing and other service details may be set out in individually agreed terms.

Recurring services and cancellation

Some software services are billed on a recurring monthly basis. A customer can request cancellation of a recurring service by contacting Midsummer Publishing before the next billing date.

Once cancellation takes effect, future recurring charges will stop.

Custom development work

Custom development work may instead be billed according to individually agreed project and payment terms. Any arrangements concerning delivery, acceptance, intellectual property, support or ongoing maintenance will be determined by those agreed terms where applicable.

Billing questions, refunds and disputes

Customers who believe they have been billed incorrectly should contact Midsummer Publishing promptly so the matter can be reviewed.

Refund requests and billing disputes will be considered based on the circumstances, the agreed terms and applicable Australian law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
